A Contemporary Family Home in Beverly Hills Reveals the Couple’s Private Side.

“This was a definite joint effort,” actress Demi Moore says of the 1950s canyonside house in Beverly Hills she renovated with her husband, actor Ashton Kutcher. “We had a give-and-take that was very easy.” Bedrooms for her three children were among the additions.

The rear garden, landscaped design by Pamela Burton, has a spacious deck and a pool. The house “works really well for entertaining,” Moore notes.

Window walls in the living room, as throughout, maximize exposure to the outdoors.

A 1930s table centers the dining area. “It’s interesting how things start to call to you,” says Moore, who sought guidance from interior designer Brad Dunning. “Pieces from the ’30s to the ’70s were an automatic fit.”

A stairway curves through an atrium linking sections of the house, which was remodeled by Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner.

We saw Kimora Lee Simmons mansion on MTV Cribs a while back, when she was still married to Russell Simmons. We hated almost ever inch of this house.

After a second, $3.3 million price reduction, Kimora Lee Simmons' Saddle River, NJ, home is on the market for $16.5 million. The Baby Phat designer and ex-wife of Russell Simmons is reportedly looking to acquire a Manhattan residence once she sells the 35,000-square-foot, 10-bedroom mansion, set on four acres with a movie theater, indoor and outdoor pools, and three kitchens. The master suite alone is 2,000 square feet. When the home first hit the market last year, it was listed at $23 million. Forever handsome Richard Gere and his lovely wife, actress Carey Lowell, recently sold their home in the Hamptons for $5.9 million. According to the Wall Street Journal, the new owner paid about a third less than the asking price inside this 7BR home, which sits on 1.2 acres in Water Mill, NY.



he approaching winter clearly has us obsessed with fireplaces right now. We hated the one in Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons' NJ estate. But we loved the fireplaces in Barefoot Contessa/Ina Garten and Jason Winer's homes. And we love the one in this bedroom,the kitchen,and dining room below.

Kim Kardashian Condominium in West Hollywood For Just Under $1.1 million

On 2009 october, Real Estalker and other sources reported that Kim Kardashian recently listed her 3 bedroom/2.5 bath 1,750 sq. ft. condo in West Hollywood for just under $1.1 million. We have since heard that she has reunited with her ex-boyfriend NFL star Reggie Bush and that they plan to purchase a home together.

As for the condo, looks like it was pretty generic and she tried really hard to spice it up:



Weird thing is, we found features we really LOVED and ones we really HATED in virtually every room! Like, we loved the gold-leaf ceiling in the dining room, but then the furniture (especially those chairs!) didn't seem to measure up.

We also loved the tufted headboard and bench, and the giant mirrored high boy and nightstands in the bedroom. But we couldn't figure out why she needed a mirrored wall behind the headboard. The pale colors reflected over and over again merely made the room look washed out.

We appreciate other personal touches like the wallpaper and black ceiling in the powder room, and we'd love to get our hands on that 4-panel Buddha-like wall-hanging in her living room.

she's having fun living on her own in L.A--for a least a little while longer. Her condo looks both stylish and regular at the same time.
